  አዲስ አበባ፣ ግንቦት 23፣ 2008 (ኤፍ ቢ ሲ) ትናንት ተቋርጦ የነበረው የ12ኛ ክፍል ብሄራዊ ፈተና የሚሰጥበትን ቀን የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ይፋ አደረገ።

  የትምህርት ሚኒስትሩ አቶ ሽፈራው ሽጉጤ በተለይም ለፋና ብሮድካስቲንግ ኮርፖሬት እንደገለፁት፥ ከሰኔ 27 ጀምሮ እስከ ሰኔ 30 ቀን 2008 ዓመተ ምህረት ድረስ ፈተናው ይሰጣል።

  የ12ኛ ክፍል ፈተና ኮድ 14 የእንግሊዝኛ ፈተና መውጣቱ በመረጋገጡ እና ሌሎች ፈተናዎች ላለመውጣታቸው ምንም ዓይነት ማረጋገጫ ባለመኖሩ እንዲሰረዝ መደረጉን ትናንት ሚኒስትሩ መግለፃቸው ይታወሳል።

  አሁን የሚሰጠው የ12ኛ ክፍል ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተና ዝግጅት እና አሰጣጥ በከፍተኛ ጥንቃቄ እና ጥበቃ የሚከናወን እንደሚሆንም ነው ሚኒስትሩ የገለፁት።

  ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተናው በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ የጥናትና ምርምር ማዕከል አማካኝነት በከፍተኛ ጥንቃቄ እንደሚዘጋጅ ያስረዱት አቶ ሽፈራው፥ ባለሙያዎቹ ተፈታኝ የስጋ ዘመድ እንደሌላቸው ተረጋግጦ በፈተና ዝግጅት እንዲሳተፉ እንደሚደረግም ተናግረዋል።

  ፈተናው በመቀጠልም በተደራጀ እና ምስጢራዊነቱን በጠበቀ መልኩ የህትመትና የስርጭት ስራው እንደሚከናወንም ነው ያረጋገጡት።

  በፈተና ስርቆት ተግባሩ ላይ የተሳተፉ አካላትም ህጉ በሚፈቅደው መሰረት አስፈላጊውን ማጣራት በማካሄድ ተገቢውን ቅጣት እንዲያገኙ እንደሚደረግም ሚኒስትሩ ገልፀዋል።

  አቶ ሽፈራው ተማሪዎች በቀጣይ አንድ ወር ጊዜ ውስጥ ለፈተና ዝግጀት በማድረግ በተጠቀሰው ጊዜ ፈተናውን እንዲወስዱ አሳስበዋል።

  Two early goals from Ame Mehamed aided Ethiopia to a 2-1 victory over Ghana in their Second Round first leg clash on Sunday in Addis Ababa.

  Mehamed's brace completed within the first eight minutes gave the host a firm cushioning until Jonah Osabutey gave the Ghanaians a lifeline by halving the deficit three minutes before time.

  The hosts started the game on a bright note mounting pressure from the onset. In the fourth minute, Surafel Awel dispossessed his marker Daniel Amoah before unleashing a shot that was spilled by Ghana custodian Kwame Baah before Mehamed fired home the rebound to break the deadlock.

  Mehamed yet again found the back of the net to double the lead four minutes later after a defensive howler from Ishaku Konda gave him space to run and slot home from close range.
